The exhibition about Milton Caniff at the PAFF!, considered to be the « Rembrandt of comic books » unveils a series of exhibitions called, « Masters of Black & White » dedicated to comics masters around the world.
The exhibition introduces Milton Caniff's iconic works that have also been a source of inspiration for Hugo Pratt while simultaneously exploring the social, cultural and historical contexts in which these works have been created. The exhibition additionally studies the link between comics, cinema, music and fashion from the 1930s, as these mediums greatly influenced the artist's works. (Sources : PAFF! and 9e Art Références)
