The exhibition "The Spirit of Will Eisner" will take you to the inner world of one of the most famous american authors. Will Eisner is known for The Spirit, an atypical superhero, and he is one of the greatest precursors of graphic novels.

This retrospective is a tribute to Will Eisner (1917-2005), father of The Spirit and pioneer of the graphic novel medium. Already introduced at the musée des Beaux-arts, musée Thomas Henry de Cherbourg-en-Cotentin and at the PAFF! in Pordenone (Italy), the exhibition explores the "Spirit of Will Eisner" through more than 150 comics plates and original drawings. These works trace the 70 years of career of the author as well as its attachment to his native town, New York. The exhibition also shows how influential of an artist Eisner has been.
